Ps3 wont find ip address

Why does my PS3 keep telling me DNS error when i sign in I had to disconnect my computer and my router because i was getting the room painted i put everything in exactly the same as it was before and now it wont work. My PS3 is able to find the IP address but the internet connection failed. I have a wireless router. It is a linksys WRT54GS. Please help me find the answer to this problem.
