Solved: E4200 as Access Point - Linksys Community As soon as the E4200 is up and running, then my bandwidth takes a nose dive and drop below .5MBps. When I setup the AP, I followed several online guides and several of them were specific to Linksys routers. This setup has been working for several months and only recently started acting up. The only safe nvram size identified for this router is an nvram size of 60kB. Recovery from a firmware with the wrong nvram size requires use of a jtag cable to erase the nvram.1
